It is a production company that has been consolidated in the audiovisual market with works that have received recognition from public and critics. The three accomplished projects of animation participated in the major specialized festivals in the country, such as the 2013 Grand Prix of Brazilian Cinema and became the great winner in Brasilia Film Festival in 2012, the oldest and most prestigious film festival in Brazil, with the short film "Valquíria". Besides Animation, Catavento Filmes started in live-action productions, making educational and institutional documentaries for schools and universities, as well as working with post-production and finalization in cinema and advertising.
